Shade Pergolas and an Outdoor Pavilion for performance and community gathering are designed for an urban park in North Carolina. Materials are purple heart wood, painted steel, masonry, copper and silicon bronze acid etched plaques. The Client requested a plaque system that recognized the incremental values of philanthropy to the project. Seven levels of donors were organized with the largest donors receiving the largest plaques located at the center of the pavilion followed by smaller sized plaques for smaller donations towards the outside walls.
