The 10,000 sq. ft. Graduate Student Centre for the London Metropolitan University is a building dedicated to the growing and diverse graduate population. Opened in March of 2004, the Centre serves not only as a facility to enhance the staff and student experience, but acts as a major gateway to the University on Holloway Road.

The Centre is composed of three intersecting volumes with a distinctive presence on the street and unique interior spaces. The building is clad entirely with embossed stainless steel panels, creating a shining and ever-changing surface. Windows are conceived as large geometrical cuts, providing accentuated natural light for the café, galleries and seminars.
